A Gamma Ray egy német heavy metal/speed metal zenekar, melyet Kai Hansen alapított 1988-ban miután otthagyta korábbi zenekarát a Helloweent. Pályájuk alatt 10 nagylemezt adtak ki, és mára Európa egyik legsikeresebb heavy/speed metal zenekarává váltak.
