Burnside Avenue è una stazione della metropolitana di New York situata sulla linea IRT Jerome Avenue. Nel 2019 è stata utilizzata da 3 113 514 passeggeri.^[1] È servita dalla linea 4, attiva 24 ore su 24.^[2]

Storia

La stazione fu aperta il 2 giugno 1917.^[3] Venne ristrutturata negli anni 1980 e nel 2006.

Strutture e impianti

La stazione è posta su un viadotto al di sopra di Jerome Avenue, ha due banchine a isola e tre binari, i due esterni per i treni locali e quello centrale per i treni espressi.^[4] Il mezzanino, posizionato sotto il piano binari, ospita le scale per accedere alle banchine, i tornelli e le quattro scale per il piano stradale che portano a sud dell'incrocio con Burnside Avenue.^[5]
