Alfred Joseph Francis Primeau, född 29 januari 1906 i Lindsay, Ontario, död 14 maj 1989 i Toronto, var en kanadensisk professionell ishockeyspelare och ishockeytränare.[1][2] Primeau spelade för Toronto Maple Leafs i NHL åren 1927–1936. Från 1950 till 1953 var han tränare för Maple Leafs.
Joe Primeau vann Stanley Cup med Toronto Maple Leafs som spelare säsongen 1931–32. I Maple Leafs spelade Primeau som center i en framgångsrik kedjeformation med högerforwarden Charlie Conacher och vänsterforwarden Busher Jackson kallad "The Kid Line". Maple Leafs tränare Conn Smythe satte samman kedjan säsongen 1929–30 och den fick sitt namn av spelarnas låga ålder.[3]
Säsongen 1950–51 vann Primeau Stanley Cup som tränare för Toronto Maple Leafs.
